i've listened to a LOT of ghost's music (not like they have that deep of a discography), but THIS song has always stood out to me as one of their best..._____thing is, it's quite different from the rest of their songs! ghost decides to ditch their whole electropop/industrial sound in favor of a sound more akin to polish folk, and it really works 4 me!!!!_____also i rly like the narrative that it builds, it has their best chorus, i even like the sorta-forced key change at the end idk !!! can't say much else

so uhhh funny story: i actually listened to this song like 6 whole months before i listened to the album !!! idk what took me so long considering how much i loved it but im just like that ig !!!_____anyways this is quadeca's best no contest (sorry born yesterday)... i love the atmosphere here, it sounds like it's in constant build-up until it finally releases when danny comes in... and hoooly shiiiit he kills it i never knew i could love carbon monoxide this much_____the narrative also fits the sound perfectly...  the persistent bargaining from quad's character that eventually leads into attempted murder !! that's very interesting and really serves as a turning point for the album's story... overall yes perfect

hearing this live was crazy dude_____this is probably one of the first songs i've ever considered a 10/10... and i have NOT changed my opinion since then. from the moment the song starts u are greeted with one of, if not the best sounding wall of synths ever... n the little stop n go it does with said synths makes it hit even harderrrr it's just glass animals at their a-game production wise_____and they're also in their a-game vocal and lyric wise !! dave's performance is nothing short of his best emotionally, and the writing gets across the feeling of yearning pretty much perfectly.... also has one of the best bridges oat yeah

one time like a year back i decided to listen to this entire song just. laying on the floor face up. idk if it did anything to me but it sure felt like it back then_____anyways ive never rly loved come in as an album but this behemoth of a song oh my god. it's like 4 songs rolled into one and it all works together perfectly somehow. weatherday kills it performance wise, and the lo-fi sound, as someone who's never been into it much, elevates the song incredibly !!!!_____what else do i even add it's 15min of greatness just listen girl

look, hachi has a lot of classics in the vocaloid scene, but i've always thought this was his best !!!_____the instrumental is like soo good, pretty distinct from his other work... the skittery drum beat, the overbearing guitars, it gives the song a very frenetic pace that doesn't let u breathe... amazing !!! miku also sounds great here, she sounds out of breath for most of the track which again, fits the overall vibe it goes for_____also the og mv artwork is sooo cool and part of why i loved this in the first place n i would've linked it BUT youtube is REALLY stupid and age-restricted it soooo here's the niconico link https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11468381

soooo this is like the first electro-industrial track i ever heard ... and like the first industrial track that isnt death grips basically .... and holy shit it still holds up_____this one is just balls-to-the-wall aggressive from the get-go and omfgggggggggg i love it !!!! the instrumental is also constantly changing which keeps it engaging all the way through !!! also both ada and devi kill it performance-wise holy shit they both bring their best_____even that weird ass outro works for me this is just awsome girl

how do i even talk about this one... i don't think it's controversial to say this is the most iconic vocaloid song of all time (or at least it's in the running)._____wowaka always had a skill of imbuing his compositions with emotion, and it's never more evident than with how this song starts. that piano riff is one of the best musical moments of ALL TIME and i will take no disagreements. and the rest of the track definitely does it justice... the breakneck pace, the gorgeous production, the intense miku vocals... like gun to my head, pick the best song oat, i'd go for this one yeah_____i'd also recommend checking out the unhappy refrain version (which is not the one linked), i'd say the mix is better but both versions are the best thing ever so u know... here's an unofficial upload since an official one doesnt rly exist https://youtu.be/Mhfo7AK2-Bc

this song is my main demonstration as to why unhappy refrain is that special of an album... smth that a lot of ppl don't seem to know is that most of the songs on unhappy refrain are remasters, while only tracks 1, 5 and 14 were made for the record. the thing is, he managed to improve basically every song he remade ????? and THIS one got the biggest glow-up imo... which is crazy cus the original is like, a 9 probably !!!_____anyways this song is INSANE. like the album already is very fast but this track just does not slow down AT ALL. main melody is crazy, verses r crazy (miku can sing rly fast n sound good wow), chorus is crazy, it's just crazy !!!!!! aaaaa !!!!! and again, the rearrangement in the remaster just makes it sound all the more cleaner which makes it work even more... so ofc i'll link it right here, unofficial cus again no official uploads https://youtu.be/SDmkzQapuFY
